These include a good dog shampoo and conditioner, flea and tick treatment, nail clippers, ear cleaner, hair clippers/scissors(if necessary) and of course a good brush and comb. Buy the best products you can afford and consult with your vet or any good pet store if you are unsure on what products are best for your pet. Once you have all these items you will need a safe place to bath your pet and of course a towel to dry your pet with.

Don’t miss any areas on your pet, take your time inspecting the condition of their skin, check for any lumps or irritations and any presence of parasites. Use caution when clipping nails, too little is better than too much in this department. Clean the ears using specific ear cleaners for pets and be gentle, their ears are sensitive. Once done with a proper shampooing, dry your pet thoroughly, you can also use a hairdryer(this can some getting used to) but your pet will be running around dishing out thank you licks for a lifetime.
