A import permit is needed for various countries when your pet will travel to them.
Some countries needs a pet import permit and some do not. It is very advisable to check with your Pet travel agency as a professional who will be sending your pet if the country of destination requires an import permit and if so obtain this usually through someone residing or who is currently in the country of destination.
An import permit may be obtained at any State Vet or at the Department of Agriculture.
Your Pet's documents from the Import permit and Vaccine booklet and everything else you may have must be kept safe at all times! It can cause enormous issues if anything is lost at any point in time!
